You music will soar like an eagle with this Eagle Head flute in your hands. The finely carved and painted feathers on the head, along with with the far-seeing carefully painted eyes and hooked beak really evokes the image of our National Bird, the Bald Eagle. Carved and decorated with crushed turquoise in the finely grained cedar wood, as a work of art this flute is a wonderful addition to any collection. Grooves, rings and a sunburst round out the workmanship of this flute. Bald Eagles live and visit in our area, mainly along the Buffalo River in the Buffalo River National Park and the Little Buffalo River. There have also been numerous sightings along some of the larger streams. You can't miss an adult, with the white head and tail. They are very large birds - about the size of a buzzard but much better looking. The flute above is a custom made flute that is created with premium cedar wood and well tuned with an electronic tuner. It is 24" long and is in the key of G with a Twin Sisters Whistle Block. The Eagle Head flute is available in the keys of A, G, G#, F and F#.
